When I met Amanda and her pack, I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I had a 90 pound puppy that was sweet when he wanted to be and could get aggressive when he didn’t feel like he was getting the attention he wanted! He was very mouthy with those sharp puppy teeth, he stole clothes from the hamper and shoes from closets…and then wanted to play chase instead of giving them back. I knew I couldn’t put up with a 100+ grown dog with the same behaviors. We had been to group training and private lessons at “big box stores” and “world-class” training facilities but none of them took an interest in the issues we were having. They just wanted to get through their curriculum.
What a difference Amanda and her pack have made! Just seeing how she interacts with her pack family taught me how to react to and interact with my Duncan. Amanda came to my home to watch Duncan in his environment and was able to teach me how to take control of situations when they came up. Duncan needed someone he could trust and respect and I had, unknowingly, been giving him mixed signals. I now feel confident taking Duncan anywhere! He knows what to do in most situations without me having to tell him and listens to me when he does need guidance. Your dog wants guidance; Amanda can help you learn how to give it in a way your dog will understand.
